If you’re looking for family photography Cardiff is a great place for a photoshoot. There are plenty of parklands and an abundance of open greenspace in most areas of the city. From Coopers Field and Bute Park right in the middle of the city, out to Blackweir, Pontcanna and Llandaff fields, there’s lots to choose from.
Surrounding areas in the Vale of Glamorgan, Newport and Bridgend are equally well suited. Wales isn’t short of pleasing outdoor spaces.

A portable studio can be taken to a location of your choice, or we can just go for a walk or play outside and muck about. The aim will be to capture your people (and pets) as they really are, their humour and their unique energy. Whether we’re racing around a park or playing a heated game of Twister indoors, we hope you’ll have a great time during the shoot so that’s reflected in the pictures.
We can check weather forecasts well in advance to ensure the conditions are as good as possible. (Although this can be tricky in Wales!) We’ll also make the effort to get to know everyone involved in the shoot, making sure everyone is as relaxed as possible before the cameras come out and the shooting begins. We don’t want anyone being nervous of the lens, or that goofy bloke behind it.
