The wedding ceremony of Georgia and Nick was held at the resplendent Llandaff Cathedral on a brilliantly sunny Saturday in the middle of August. I was drafted in to help a colleague with this big wedding at fairly late notice, covering only a few hours in the middle of the day.
After the ceremony, the party made their way to the salubrious surroundings of Park Housein the middle of Cardiff.
A few hours were spent at this wonderful venue, a grand staircase its core centre point with a number of achingly gorgeous windowlight opportunities.
This bridesmaid showed me an impressive film she’d shot on her phone, which was probably better than anything I shot all day!
The party then made its way over the road to the National Museum of Wales for the full wedding breakfast.
This was a Cardiff wedding which I agreed to help out with. I left my colleague to get all the important posed shots and offered a little extra reportage style coverage from wedding proceedings at the ceremony and the Park House.
It allowed me to concentrate on the other wedding guests and, let’s face it, the kids are always the best fun to photograph. I loved being a small part of the day!
